Decide your Story's Point of View Will your story be told in first person or third person? Decide on the Story's Genre Genres include: Mystery, thriller, drama, action, comedy, horror, etc... Describe a Setting Such things as where the story takes place, the time of day, and season can add drama, suspense, and substance to your story. Create conflicts Characters facing problems will add more depth and entertainment to your story. Appeal to the Reader's Emotions Design highs and lows in the pace your storyline. |
